Tuesday 24 August 2010 - am

First of all, I dreamed of a butterfly (black and white) on my shoulder. It was fluttering about and couldn’t seem to get off but I didn’t want to shoo it in case I hurt it.

Then I seemed to be at a gathering, like a BBQ, but there was heaps of people there. We were getting ready to travel (drive somewhere, lengthy drive) and I was placing various types of bread in my bag for the trip (i.e. ham & cheese sandwich, mini bread roll, bacon and cheese roll etc) then Dona had some steaks on a plate and one was raw and the other barely cooked, I was going to make a sandwich for her but I couldn’t get a chair to sit on.

Thursday 20 May 2010 - am

I was apparently on my way to something... to meet someone or pick them up or something... I decided to cut through down the side part of the pet shop in Coconut Grove. So at 11:55am, I went inside to get something (it could have been a gift, not sure). Ducklings. Lots of little ducklings and one grey platypus. I was patting a little brown one. A couple of kids came over and was nursing some and I was making sure they didn’t squeeze them. I took off at 12noon.

Brown

Brown denotes worldliness, practicality, domestic and physical comfort, conservatism, and a materialistic character. Brown also represents the ground and earth. You need to get back to your roots.

Duck

Alternatively, it is indicative of shyness and reservation, especially in social situations.

Thursday 6 May 2010 - am

I started off dreaming I was at work. [Now at my work, you (visitor) can get into the foyer but need a security pass to get any further, or you phone the person you need to see and they let you in… some people ignore this and simply yell out or flag the next passing person down. It’s very annoying if you are sitting near the door.]

Anyway, I dreamed I was at work and some bible preachers came to the door, saw me and hollered. They wanted to be let in so they could approach people and preach. I saw no and they tried preaching to me… after an argument that I won; they left… my point being that despite who they are and their intentions, it would be a security breach to let them wander about the floor. After this, I happened to be in a shopping centre being chased by someone. I wasn’t scared; despite the seriousness of the chaser I seemed pretty confident/playful… I made a get away by turning into a black cat and a woman who knew my identity let me hide in her canvas shopping bag.

Job

Tuesday 4 May 2010 - am

I dreamed that Peter had been taken/kidnapped. He'd been with me, Mum & Dad at a cafe in Nightcliff... where the bank is... and Peter was asleep and two black men took him. I chased them down the street and got him back. In the meantime, Mum and Dad were madly running around. In the end it was okay... but it scare the hell out of me.

The Werewolf - 2008

This dream was one I had back in 2008 but only wrote it down late last year. I saw it, like most dreams but not all, in first person. I must say, that was scary... I can still feel the breath and teeth on my neck.

The room was almost completely dark. There was a slight pink glow on the horizon which trickled through 3 large floor-to-ceiling windows. Heavy dark clouds lurked, blocking out most of the stars. There was minimal furniture in the room; a long dining table, chairs, a shape that resembled a couch, but there was a dark shape at one end of the long room. It was too small for an armchair but the wrong shape for a side table.

I leaned back against the wall, still sitting on the floor. I looked around again, hoping for a sign of exit.

I looked up at the dark shape ahead of me. Surely it had just sniffed. Panic creeping slowly into my system.
It had better not move.

Maybe I imagined it. Maybe it had been me who had made the noise. My breathing had picked up and was slightly more laboured. Lightning flickered along the horizon briefly lighting up the room. Next to the armchair a figure was crouching low to the ground. When darkness fell again the figure moved a little away from the chair.

I must have screamed or something because it came charging towards me out of the shadows. A wolf, only bigger, longer and much more wild. Brown and grey. When it appeared like it was going to crash into me I crouched closer to the wall, head turned to one side and eyes squeezed shut.

It stopped so close to me that I was almost underneath it. It's breath heavy and wet. It leaned in closer and opened it's mouth around my neck, teeth scaping skin.
I heard a small sob and opened my eyes. In place of the wolf was a boy not much older than me; shirtless, scarred and physically shaking. His leaned forward, rested his head on my shoulder and sighed.

Monday morning, 22 March 2010

The angel was overtaking a guy, wings coming out and filling the room. Eventually the angel image changed and it became a skeleton wrapped in scarce rags and bits of material, wings still attached but flakey.
I’m pretty sure I was in a bell tower made of wood, with no bell. Kind of like a turret or look out. It was night time and I had my clown toy, except there were two – a good one and an evil one.

Then I saw the angel skeleton within the evil clown toy. I said that sometimes they cross over and come out twisted.

The clowns fell over the edge and then, while a white ball was bouncing, I realised that a little girl's fate was tied to the bounce. I woke myself up while calling out 'hey!'.

Angels
To see angels in your dream, symbolize goodness, purity, protection, comfort and consolation. Pay careful attention to the message that the angels are trying to convey. These messages serve as a guide toward greater fulfilment and happiness. Alternatively, it signifies an unusual disturbance in your soul. You should put the issues aside so you can clear your head and come back to it later. Alternatively, night may be synonymous with death, rebirth, reflection, and new beginnings.

Wood
To dream of wood suggests that you are emotionless and feeling dead inside. Your behaviour is too automated; you're just going along with the flow. Or you may be acting out without fully thinking things through. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on "getting wood" or sexual arousal.

To dream that you are carving or shaping a piece of wood indicates a power-giving act or creative gesture. You are moulding or shaping the course of your own life. Alternatively, the wood may also symbolize spirituality and vital energy.

FIRST DREAM

The dream started off in our old house on Progress Drive and I felt a great weight on me as I lay in bed (at night), I was being possessed. I somehow got free and left the room, although my movements were sluggish, jerky and my sheet was wrapped around my right ankle trying to drag me back to the bed. I got free and called out to Mum (walking around in her room), but she wasn't listening to me. Eventually she acknowledged me but started ripping into me about something - she was possessed too.
The dream moved to an old wooden tower of sorts (only saw the inside). Mum and I were being possessed by two witches but they had to keep it going for a certain amount of time in order to be permanently placed in us. But one witch pricked her finger on a spinning wheel and the whole spell was ruined. My finger ended up bleeding in place.
At some point within this dream I came across a dead body, it opened one eye and as I freaked out, I gripped his head and flung it... it shattered, grotesquely.

To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you. Women often dream of blood or of someone bleeding, shortly before or during their periods or while they are pregnant. If you dream that you are giving or donating blood, and then it suggests that you are feeling physically drained due to stress.

To dream that others are bleeding, signifies an emotional cry for help.

While waiting for my toast, I mouthing off about Mark and he startled me when he happened to be napping in a chair and woke up saying 'that's not very nice'... Lesley then appeared too.
